The Alan Sanders Show

Jun 29, 2022

In today’s episode, I am surprised over what used to take 12-18 months for the legacy media to report on the truth, yesterday’s surprise J6 Committee Hearings went bust within hours. While star witness Cassidy Hutchinson was supposed to drop one bomb after another, it didn’t even take a full day for her revelations to become highly suspect.

While there are those who want desperately to believe in the narrative she painted for January 6, it strains all credulity. It’s like a Michael Bay film, where the action sequences, though stunning, become so cartoonish and ridiculous, you no longer take the film seriously. When the key figures she called out are already denying her claims and are willing to testify under oath, the J6 Committee has some serious issues. The partisan witch-hunt becomes even more of a joke than it already is. And, when the legacy media is bringing her testimony into question, you know it’s not a good day for Liz Cheney and her band of merry McCarthyites.

Today’s second topic deals with how prominent figures on the Left have treated Justice Clarence Thomas in the wake of the overturning of Roe v Wade. Isn’t it amazing to hear hateful words coming from both Hillary Clinton and actor George Takei. Leftists reveal their true bigotry, if not out-right prejudice, whenever their emotions get the better of them. Thankfully, we can turn to one of the more liberal Justices on the Supreme Court to find out who Clarence Thomas really is.

Sonia Sotomayor recently talked about Thomas. While she admits they are on opposites sides of their legal arguments most often than not, she could not say enough about his kindness and his authenticity. It is encouraging to me to see how well though of Thomas is, even to the liberal side of the court. To have such a strong Constitutionalist on the bench is something we should all applaud and to which we should all be grateful.

I close with a comment Justice Thomas made to the Heritage Foundation about the importance of truth. No matter how blustery the winds or how angry the mob, north is still north. Even when standing alone, truth is still truth.
