The Alan Sanders Show

Jul 21, 2019

In this interview with long-time NPR broadcaster, David Denault, we talk about his live reporting of Apollo 11. He has been covering the space race since the early days of the program. He has the distinction of having met and interviewed all 12 men who walked on the surface of the moon. We get the chance to recap his foray into broadcast and his coverage of the historic first moon landing of Apollo 11. We include several sound bites from the day and have some outtakes from a special show he did, recapping the Apollo 11 event.
