The Alan Sanders Show

May 3, 2022

In today’s episode, I am not in the best of moods. I know breaking news sometimes means having to shelve show prep in favor of what’s happening in real-time. That’s not what has me upset. My issue today is not about whether I am pro-life or pro-abortion, but on the integrity and the sanctity of what it means to clerk for the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Yes, we will need to discuss, in the coming days, the overall ramifications of the abortion industry and how this holy sacrament to the church of leftist extremism is on the brink of being returned back to the states, rather than remain at the federal level. But, that is not my principle focus today. I feel nothing but contempt for the pearl-clutching, overly-woke, virtue-signaling asshat who threw away over two centuries of duty, trust and honor in service to the sacrosanct processes of integrity and confidentiality of our third branch of government. Their selfish and disgraceful action has forever ruined the trust that must exist within the halls of the SCOTUS for the Judicial Branch to perform it’s duty. It is not supposed to be a law-making entity and it does not execute the laws of the land. Those are for the other two branches. Their sole job is to decide, based on the arguments made and the laws of our land, if a case sides with the Constitution or against it. Period. And now the corrosion of politics has been injected into those very halls.

When I joined the Navy, I chose, as my specialty, to be part of the intelligence community. I wasn’t fully prepared for just how sacred that community was until I started training. Every day I heard someone tell me if I ever leaked information, I was going to be sent straight to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. For those who don’t know, that’s the home of a U.S. Penitentiary. I don’t think a single day passed when I wasn’t reminded of how even the smallest piece of information could do irreparable harm. It could ruin an operation, expose an asset, derail foreign policy or even lead to the deaths of others. It was serious and we had to take it seriously. That was so drummed into my head, I will never forget it and have developed rigid processes in myself to keep secrets safe.

For a clerk of the Supreme Court to decide to break over two centuries of precedence and leak a draft is akin to leaking secrets to the enemy. He or she should be disbarred, blackballed and even prosecuted to the fullest extent of all applicable laws. The damage this act has done may ripple forward for all-time. There is no way to full comprehend the effects to the ability of Justices to perform their duty outside of politics.

Finally, let’s face it, this was done for politics. There is no other reason. Whomever did it is mad at the polling, mad at the ruling and mad at the Constitution of the United States of America. This leak is symptomatic of the problem in the far Left, revealing their desire to fundamentally transform our nation, which means a complete rewriting of the Constitution. As long as I am able, I will always fight against those who want to achieve that end.
