In this episode, though it was the last subject I wanted to cover, I dive head-long into, "Insurrection Day!" I had planned on looking at some of the comments from Dr. Marty Makary of Johns Hopkins University. But, after listening to the speeches of President Biden and VP Harris, I knew I had to address the day.
Did a protest get out of hand? Yes. Did some of the attendees break the law? Yes. Could you describe part of it as a riot? Absolutely! Was it a planned takeover of the government by an armed rebellion? Definitely not!
Calling the events of January 6, 2021 an insurrection is every bit the hoax of the Russian Collusion narrative. And there is a lot more to today's anniversary and the events of a year ago we need to discuss. First, it is obvious Biden, Harris, Schumer and Pelosi are not even trying to keep their intentions secret. They mean to hyperbolize the day and use it to paint every single Republican as violent insurrectionsts. With the help of a willful and complicit mainstream media and the assistance of Big Tech, they want to rescue their sinking poll numbers. They aren't going to do that by addressing all of the failings of this administration. Rather, they hope to pull down everyone in the opposition party.
If they are so intent on reliving that day, let's go ahead and play along. Let's remind everyone of the mysterious pipe-bomber on January 5th, who was caught on multiple cameras, but was never found. In fact, you don't hear about him. What about the man who has caught multiple times on camera on January 5th telling crowds they need to break into the Capitol? That man's name was identified within days as Ray Epps. Epps was seen on camera on January 6th, guiding the first breakdown of fencing and leading the first breech inside the Capitol. He started that activity while Donald Trump was still 20 minutes away from finishing his own speech in the Mall.
Epps was suspect #16 on the FBI's Capitol Violence Most Wanted List. Yet, after being identified less than a week after January 6, the FBI never talked to him. Never arrested him. Never issued a search warrant. All they did was remove his picture and name from their own Most Wanted List on July 1, 2021 and pretended like he never even existed. Why?
If we really want answers and AG Garland says they are not yet done arresting people who may or "may not" have been at the Capitol, why let this person get off wihtout a single question? I don't want to sound like a tin-foil hat person. Maybe Epps is just a crazy ex-Marine who incited the mob and got some to commit criminal acts while having no connection to anyone in the FBI or our government. Maybe he was given a mission to carry out by being protester zero. Either way, Democrats almost have a twinkle in their eye knowing they can exaggerate, spin, and use it to their advantage in a mid-term election year.
Don't let them get away with it. Don't let them lie. Don't let them cherry pick images or stories. Recognize today for what it is -- a sad day where some were incited to break the law, while tens of thousands did not. It was not an insurrection, and should not be allowed to be used as a campaign ad or a distraction from all the failings of Presdent Biden, Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Schumer.
