The Alan Sanders Show

Oct 31, 2022

Today, even though I know we don't have all the facts, I feel forced to weigh-in on the attack on Paul Pelosi, the husband of Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. While we have the name of the person and some basic facts, it's too sensational to take at face value. A long-standing Democrat axiom is to never let a good crisis go to waste.

To make sure you know where I fall, here is what I tweeted late Friday afternoon: "I have intentionally not done a deep dive into the Paul Pelosi case because, much like the Jussie Smollett story, there are far too many oddities and questions. A 42 year old Castro Nudist protester is there are 2AM and the only reason police arrive is for a wellness check?" I still feel the same today, 48 hours later. But, leave it to President Biden to run with a narrative that the rest of his propaganda wing is forced to parrot – at least for now.

Joe Biden wasted no time, blaming the GOP for the attack. His evidence? He heard through the grapevine the assailant yelled, "Where's Nancy?" So, to him, that's the same chant as those who rioted on January 6. Other media outlets followed suit, looking for links to January 6. One reporter said they found zip ties (being he was in his underwear, I am not sure where they were "found") and so she reminded us several J6 rioters had zip ties on them. Of course, why look for a more recent example. Remember the guy who was going to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh? He had zip ties with him, too. But, that goes against the narrative. Only the GOP is capable of violence and violent rhetoric.

To see if that theory holds water, I have a montage of sound bites from several democrats and their dutiful servants in media and entertainment. Decide for yourself which party owns the lion share of violent rhetoric and attacks. I will even remind you of the rare time a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court had to weigh in on the violent rhetoric from U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

While more information needs to be determined about assailant David DePape, it's clear the Left is going to use him as a rallying cry for the midterms. It doesn't matter the facts, only the narrative.

I did stumble upon a sound bite from former President Barack Obama. It seems he has spent some time fantasizing over how he could have a third term in office. It appears he wanted a front person to go in front of the cameras or the microphone while he sat in his basement and talked to that person through a microphone. Unfortunately for the man who ran on the platform of wanting to "fundamentally transform this nation," his weekend trip to Michigan did not go well. (I apologize in advance if anything naughty made it through the crowd noise.)

Finally, I introduce a topic I will talk about in greater detail on tomorrow's show. The Atlantic just published a piece by Emily Oster entitled, "Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty." Underneath she adds, "We need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about Covid." Well, ladies and gentlemen, that time is long past. The anger, the hate, the vitriol along with the censorship, deplatforming, canceling and firing of people by the Covidiots cannot be dismissed or white-washed. They know a midterm changeover to the GOP in Congress is going to open investigations to the malfeasance, the graft and the corruption. This piece is a move toward prevent-defense and thankfully seems to be falling on deaf ears.
