The Alan Sanders Show

Jan 10, 2023

Today we open the show with a reminder of who has Constitutional authority to declassify information and who does not. Although this was known on November 2, 2022, the fact that former VP Joe Biden had classified documents found at a private office in Washington, D.C., is only just now hitting the news. The most important fact to remember is Vice President does not have the same ability to declassify.

Ironically, Joe Biden’s sanctimonious admonition toward Donald Trump related to the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago, saying Trump was irresponsible, have now come back to bite our current President. However, given that hypocrisy is a resume enhancement for Democrats, the Legacy/mainstream media is bending itself into pretzels into dismissing the issue for Biden, while still trying to make sure Trump is condemned.

The big news dropping yesterday once again come from a new drop of Twitter Files. This time, Alex Berenson was the selected journalist to report on how Pfizer pressured Twitter to remove any posts or reporting that questions the efficacy of mRNA vaccine or tout the superiority of natural immunity.

Dr. Scott Gottlieb, who appeared nearly every day across the talking head platforms on nightly and cable news, saw a tweet he didn’t like, a tweet that might hurt sales of Pfizer’s mRNA vaccine. Gottlieb was the former Commissioner of the FDA and now sits on the Executive Board of Pfizer. The tweet he flagged actually came from a former fellow FDA member who simply noted that research was showing natural immunity was far superior to the protections from the vaccine. Dr. Brett Giroir then went on to add, if a person has not yet been infected and recovered, they should still get the vaccine. It didn’t matter to Gottlieb. In his mind, telling potential customers they didn’t need to use their product if they had already naturally recovered would hurt the overall sales and profitability of Pfizer.

Even though Twitter looked at the tweet and determined it was not against their policies and was not considered “misinformation,” they went ahead and flagged the tweet, keeping it from being liked, retweeted or commented. Plus, it automatically shadow banned Dr. Giroir, ensuring his tweets would not be seen. It should be noted, not once was Twitter made aware of the financial conflicts of interest in serving on Pfizer’s board.

An almost identical situation happened with a tweet from Justin Hart who said, “Sticks and stones may break my bones but a viral pathogen with a child mortality rate of ~0% has cost our children three years of schooling.” It is a factually accurate tweet. This is not even a question. However, when this tweet came out, Pfizer was pushing for the FDA to mandate the vaccine for children. Once again, the financial harm to Pfizer prompted Gottlieb to demand Hart’s tweet be removed.

The reason Alex Berenson was asked to report on this phase of The Twitter Files is Dr. Gottlieb also went after the NY Times reporter for asking valid questions about COVID-19, the efficacy of the vaccine and more. Gottlieb was able to put the final nail into Berenson’s Twitter account simply because he demanded it. Berenson won his lawsuit against Twitter as was reinstated in October of 2022. However, at the time, Gottlieb’s actions were not known to him. As of now, he plans to sue Gottlieb, Pfizer and Andy Slavitt (who was the White House senior adviser to Biden’s Covid response team). All of them have been exposed for their efforts to silence the truth and censor Americans.
