Today we need to get caught up on the Twitter Files parts 4 and 5. But, before we do that, inflation numbers dropped today and we are down a bit to 7.1% year-to-year. And, while that is the average across all products, food and energy costs are through the roof. President Joe Biden then lies to the American people, stating that wages are increasing at a higher rate than inflation. Not true at all. Hourly wages are down 1.9% year-to-year. Essentially, with less income and higher prices, you are paying 10% more today for the same things as you were buying just a year ago.
Next, in breaking news, a judge as ordered an emergency hearing in Arizona. Those who were demanded to appear include Kari Lake, Kattie Hobbs and the Maricopa County Board of Elections and Officials. It seems Kattie had a direct link to Twitter, helping to shadow ban Kari Lake and her followers. Plus, with so many machines not working and those in positions of the election supervision had started dark money PACs to go after Kari Lake. On top of that, a whistleblower reveals 298,942 Maricopa County ballots delivered on election day had no chain of custody information or necessary documentation. The hearing is set for today and we will keep an eye out to bring you updates tomorrow.
When asked about Elon Musk's meme's and comments about Dr. Anthony Fauci, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was greatly concerned over those attacks. She denounced such activity as "dangerous." Ironic, given how this seem Press Secretary saw nothing wrong with protesters breaking the law by threatening the lives of the Supreme Court. It's amazing how they have two different tiers of justice in their minds. Liberals are incapable of doing anything wrong, while conservatives are always guilty of wrongdoing.
The bulk of the rest of the show is dedicated to breaking down the two most recent drops of The Twitter Files. Part 4 was disseminated by Michael Shellenberger and was supplemented by Bari Weiss in Part 5. Both dealt with the mental gymnastics the upper level executives in Twitter to find a way to permanently ban President Donald J. Trump. The frontline employees, as much as they may have hated Trump, could not find where his tweets violated their policies. But, that didn't matter to Yoel Roth and Vijaya Gadde.
What's amazing, in The Twitter Files Part 5, Bari Weiss reveals how several other world leaders tweeter far more egregious messages of hate and a call to violence and, at worst, had the tweet removed, but no bans given. Yet, Donald Trump gets banned for tweets their own people said were not in violation of their policies. The dictator wanna-be's, drunk with power, not only rejoiced in getting rid of Trump, but also turned their immediate attention to going after what they deemed to be spreaders of medical misinformation. Twitter went from a policy of open speech and ideas and not trying to interpret meaning, to locking down the speech of those on the right and believing they could divine intent in the tweets of others.
